This Three Step Formula Will Dramatically Improve Your Ads
I want to tell you how I figured out the formula that improves any ad.
It doesn’t require hours of your work.
Doesn’t even require you throwing thousands of dollars at it, hoping it will work out.
By the time you finish reading this article you’ll understand exactly why most ads don’t work and what you can do about it.
Let’s dive into it…
How to Write Ads – That Work
I vividly remember writing my first ad. I hated every second of it.
I had no idea what to say or where to even start, I just stared at that blank page.
And the longer I sat there, the more stupid I felt.
I knew that there had to be a better way of writing ads.
The Formula for Writing Great Ads
So, I decided to get to the bottom of this and figure out the exact formula for effective marketing.
The good news? There was a formula and I figured it out.
The bad news? It wasn’t easy to get there.
If I had to write out all the elements of the formula we would be sitting here for weeks, so let me give you the most important part.
You might have heard about Freytag’s pyramid from school.
How all good stories follow the state, conflict and resolution structure.
It’s like that but for marketing.
These are the steps:
- Problem The first step is to get their attention on the problem.
- Agitate Then we need to show why it is worth solving.
- Solution And in the final step we give a clear solution.
Let’s say you clean crawl spaces.
The ad could say something like this:
“There is a 64% chance that right now you are breathing in mold, toxins, and chemicals. The biggest factor of this is your crawlspace. People have no idea, and they never check for humidity, fungus or pipe leaks. If you want to know the condition of your crawlspace, fill out the form and our team will contact you shortly.”
If you follow PAS, not only will it help you become a better marketer, it’s also so simple that you can use it everywhere.
